2. PS2 CodeBreaker - problem downloading
more codes
Answer: All codes for your CodeBreaker can be found on our
website at:
www.codebreaker.com.
If you cannot find a game or code that you are looking for it may not be available yet so check back often. You can also find Day 1 driver downloads and receive online help and chat there.
3. PS2 CodeBreaker is not working after disc is inserted.
Answer: If you are having trouble getting the CodeBreaker disc to boot-up on your PS2 keep in mind that the disc is CD based. The majority of your PS2 games are DVD based. In your PS2 you have two separate lasers one for DVD’s and one for CD’s. To check if your CD laser lens is still functioning, here is a test you can conduct. Insert anywhere from three to five music CD’s or PSone games one at a time into your PS2, and test. If your PS2 can load up all the tracks on your music CD’s, or on your PSone games it takes you to the main menu of the game, then your CD laser lens is fine and you can send back your CodeBreaker unit for a replacement. If your PS2 has trouble reading your music or PSone games, then your CD laser lens, after time, has become defective. Should that be the case, the suggestion would be to contact Sony at their customer service number. Keep in mind that when sending back your CodeBreaker if it is badly scratched or you used a game doctor on it we cannot replace the disc.
